


Sunday’s highly anticipated playoff matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium has been postponed to Monday at 4:30 p.m. due to a winter storm set to pound western New York with lake-effect snow this weekend, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Saturday, bringing “dangerous conditions” to the region.

Near-whiteout conditions are expected in the Buffalo area on Sunday, with forecasters predicting heavy lake-effect snow that will cause “zero visibility” and make travel “difficult to impossible.”
Hochul tweeted she’d been in communication with the NFL and made the decision in consultation with emergency response teams, the Bills and the league.
