Mitch Landrieu, the co-chair of President Biden’s 2024 campaign, said the president would not “quit” the 2024 race, even after the special counsel report said he had “poor memory,” and recent NBC polling showed an overwhelming 76% of Americans had major or moderate concerns about his health.
The Biden campaign co-chair made the comments on Meet the Press on Sunday morning.
“The one thing Joe Biden is never going to do… he is never, ever going to quit, because that’s not what he’s done his entire life,” Landrieu told Meet the Press on Sunday.
The Biden campaign leader claimed Biden was resilient, adding “he already lost another child earlier in his life, and he got up and went to work, and he had difficulty with his other son and he got up and went to work.”
