An eclectic group of lawmakers, including progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and far-right Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), proposed a bill Tuesday to effectively prevent members of Congress from actively trading stocks.
