A Romanian judge put Tate under house arrest on Thursday while they investigate new allegations against him, including sex with a minor and trafficking underage persons, BBC reported.
Prosecutors have asked that Tate—who was one of six people taken into custody in relation to the human trafficking investigation—be detained for 30 days, Reuters reported.
The reported house arrest comes one day after authorities raided Tate’s house on a search warrant that his spokesperson said included “suspicions of human trafficking and money laundering.”
