


New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers will not appear on “The Pat McAfee Show” for the remainder of the NFL season, McAfee announced Wednesday on his show, after Rodgers made headlines for baselessly suggesting late night television host Jimmy Kimmel had connections to sexual abuser Jeffery Epstein amid the unsealing of court documents related to Epstein’s wrongdoing.

McAfee said he “would love” to move on from the situation and said the show was lucky “to get a chance to chat with [Rodgers] and learn from him.”
The decision to boot Rodgers from his regular Tuesday appearances on the show was because of his recent behavior, an unnamed person familiar with the matter told CNN.
An ESPN spokesperson told Forbes that McAfee addressed the situation and the network “won’t be making any further comments on the matter.”
“So ‘Aaron Rodgers Tuesday,’ season four, is done,” McAfee said Wednesday. “There could be a lot of people that are happy with that. Myself included, to be honest with you. The way it ended, it got real loud.”
