Target recalled 4.9 million units of the Threshold Glass Jar Candles and are offering refunds to those who purchased them.
The candle jars, which are manufactured in Vietnam, break while the candle is burning, potentially cutting and severely burning users.
Six consumers have reported burns and lacerations.
Nearly 40 different related products have been recalled.
The 5.5-ounce 1-Wick (5), 14-ounce (19) 3-Wick and 20-ounce 3-Wick (13) are the glass candle jar sizes, the CPSC said.

The Threshold Glass Candle Jars began selling exclusively at Target in August 2019. The candles range from $3 to $20 and come in a variety of scents. The cause of the cracking or breaking has not been reported.
