After the officer out of his vehicle, a man opened fire. A second officer arrived and gunshots were exchanged and the suspect was killed.

One of the officers sustained a gunshot wound to the leg that was <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/pennsylvania-state-trooper-recovering-bullet-wound-suspect-custody" target="_blank">not considered life-threatening</a>.
