The announcement comes after the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics/foreign-policy/state-department" target="_blank">U.S. State Department</a> said in July that it would partner with Costa Rica's government to support the Costa Rican semiconductor sector through the 2022 Chips and Science Act.
