Radio host Howard Stern is still with SiriusXM. He revealed the news on Monday after rumors swirled about his future at the satellite radio service earlier this year.
However, Stern's show trolled its listeners with a bit staged by Andy Cohen, who started the show by joking that he would be taking over Stern's slot and his new show would be known as "Andy 100."
"I know you’re expecting a big announcement from Howard and this is not how things were meant to go," Cohen said. "This was supposed to be a cleaner handoff. I’m kind of winging it." Cohen said it was a "surreal morning here," according to Variety.
Stern then came on the air and thanked Cohen for staging the bit.

The radio host was initially supposed to speak about the future of his show last week on Sept. 2, but ultimately aired the first episode on Monday because he was sick, Variety reported.
