An explosion at a building in <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/world/world-regions/japan" target="_blank">Tokyo’s commercial district</a> of Shimbashi on Monday shattered windows and spewed smoke, according to media reports.

Police were investigating the site after receiving an <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/world/disasters" target="_blank">emergency call</a>, Kyodo news reported.
