The <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/capitol-christmas-tree-colorado-dc-truck-driver-schmalzried" target="_blank">selected tree will make several stops</a> around West Virginia and surrounding states in November before making its way to Washington, D.C.

The West Virginia national forest will provide the U.S. Capitol Christmas tree this year. The tree is picked from a different forest every year and will be displayed on the west lawn.
