The Ukrainian Air Force reports it intercepted 50 Russian drones during a massive overnight attack, with another 27 drones lost due to technical issues.

According to the Ukrainian military, Russian drones were confirmed to have been shot down in Kyiv, Sumy, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Kirovohrad oblasts.

The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) reports that all drones targeting Kyiv were destroyed. Debris from the intercepted drones fell in open areas in Kyiv’s Obolon and Desna districts, causing localized fires.

The drones over the other oblasts were downed without damage to the infrastructure, according to governors.

Russia launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile at Dnipropetrovs’k Oblast and attacked Kharkiv Oblast with guided aerial bombs.

The Russian attack in Kharkiv damaged infrastructure facilities, including “four trade pavilions, two supermarkets, a house, a laboratory, a cafe, 21 trade kiosks, a shopping center, two residential buildings, and ten vehicles,” according to local authorities. The attack injured 11 civilians and four Ministry of Internal Affairs employees, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.

In Dnipro, a Russian attack with an Iskander-M ballistic missile caused a fire and damaged infrastructure. No casualties were reported.

Governor Serhii Lysak said that the Nikopol area came under attack from kamikaze drones and artillery, targeting the district center and the Marhanets community.
