On the night of 1 August, three drones attacked Moscow. One of them hit the Moscow City business center, reportedly after being suppressed by Russian electronic warfare, Russian media and Telegram channels reported.
Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that, in total, three Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow. Two of them were shot down by air defense while the third one, suppressed by electronic warfare, “fell” in the Moscow City business center.
The information was partially confirmed by Russian Telegram channels, which showed images of the air defense work in Moscow suburbs of Kubinka.
Due to the attack, the windows of the business center were damaged. The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation is located on the 21st floor of the tower of the building that was hit by the drone. Also, due to the attack of drones, the work of the Moscow airport Vnukovo has been temporarily stopped, and the planes are being redirected to other airports.
