Russian military attacked nine Ukrainian oblasts over the past day, killing two civilians and injuring 19 others, local authorities reported on 8 March.

In Donetsk Oblast, Russian troops attacked three districts over the past day, injuring five people and damaging a church, shops, administrative buildings, and residential buildings, Governor Vadym Filashkin said.

Russian military hit civilian infrastructure, a theatre, museum, enterprise, shop, and cars in Kherson Oblast, Governor Oleksandr Produkin said. The attack injured five people in the oblast.

Over the past day, the Russian military struck 18 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, killing two people and injuring two others. In the early hours of 8 March, Russia injured seven people in Chuhuiv, Oleh Syniehubov said.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russia hit Nikopol, damaging residential buildings and outbuildings, Governor Serhii Lysak said.

Over the past day, Russian troops also attacked Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Odesa oblasts. There were no casualties reported.
