Overnight into 25 October, at 1 pm, Russia attacked the Khmelnytsky Oblast with Shaheds for the fourth day in a row, first deputy of Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration Serhiy Turin said.
According to Turin, Russian air targets hit a critical infrastructure facility in the Shepetivka district. As a result, 16 people were injured.
“In the cities of Slavuta and Netishyn, the blast wave also damaged the premises of fire rescue units and the police department building,” he added.
As Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported later, 11 apartment buildings and 9 private houses, two educational institutions, an administrative building, a shop and cars were destroyed in the city of Slavuta, Shepetivka district.
As recently reported by Deputy Head of Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Tkachuk, the Russian strike took place near the nuclear power plant. Power outages in Slavuta and Netishyn due to damaged power lines.
The mayor of Slavuta, Vasyl Sydor, said that on 25 October, the community suspended the educational process in educational institutions due to the Russian attack.
In general, all of the 11 Shahed attack UAVs Russia launched across Ukraine overnight into 25 October, were shot down, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
