The Freedom of Russia legion claims that they had completely taken control of the urban-type settlement of Tyotkino in the Kursk Oblast, Russia.

The battalions of the Freedom of Russia legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps, and the Siberian Battalion reported on the morning of 12 March that they had entered the border territory of Russia to liberate Russia from the “criminal dictatorial regime in the Russian Federation.”

“The settlement of Tyotkino in the Kursk Oblast is completely under the control of the Russian liberation forces. Putin’s army is rapidly leaving the village, abandoning positions and heavy equipment,” the legion wrote on Telegram.

The Russian Volunteer Corps also published a video showing Russian soldiers leaving their positions and fleeing.

“Soldiers of Putin’s army are running away, flashing their heels. Behind their backs, they leave settlements, equipment, and, above all, citizens of the Russian Federation, abandoned and unwanted.”

Before the start of the offensive, the military volunteers published an address, saying “The Legion is coming to the Putin elections.”

The battalions, composed of citizens of the Russian Federation, are advancing in the Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia, engaging in combat and inflicting damage on the Russian armed forces, a volunteer of the Freedom of Russia legion, Oleksiy Baranovskyi Lyutik, said.
