Polish President Andrzej Duda emphasized that Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the EU aligns perfectly with Poland’s national interests.
“We would gain another powerful military partner in NATO, one with vast military experience. Ukraine undeniably possesses one of the world’s best and, in combat terms, most experienced armies, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, including unmanned systems. This is also of great significance for our security,” emphasized Duda.
He also expressed Poland’s support for Ukraine’s EU accession and hoped for active Polish involvement in Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Why does it matter? Duda recognizes Ukraine as a robust military ally, emphasizing shared defense interests. Poland’s backing of Ukraine’s NATO and EU accession underscores a commitment to regional stability and cooperation.
