Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce raised eyebrows when, after apparently disagreeing with a call, he approached his 65-year-old head coach Andy Reid and body-checked him, screaming in his face.

According to a report published by NBC News, Reid had decided on a play that did not involve Kelce — and the tight end took issue with being pulled from the field, however briefly.

In the brief clip, which circulated on X during the game, Kelce had to be pulled away from Reid by Kansas City running back Jerick McKinnon.

Andy Becht, head coach of the XFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks, made it clear that such actions would never be tolerated in his league.

Kelce’s Chiefs were having a tough go of it, scoring only three points before halftime. The San Francisco 49ers were leading 10-3 at the half.
