Border Czar Tom Homan roasted a protester who interrupted his speech at a Turning Point USA event on Saturday.
Homan spoke at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday evening, defending Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and President Donald Trump’s immigration and deportation policies.
In the middle of his speech, a protester with a large photo of Homan doctored to have gang signs on his knuckles interrupted the border czar to ask if he is “an MS-13 member.”
“I got a question for you: Why don’t you come up here and hand me that picture, right? Bring it,” Homan taunted back before leading the crowd to begin chanting “USA, USA” as security guards came to escort the protester out.
“They got morons like this all over the country,” Homan continued as the protester was escorted out of the venue. “This guy ain’t got the balls to be an ICE officer. He hasn’t got the balls to be a Border Patrol agent. This guy lives in his mother’s basement.”
“The only thing that surprised me, you don’t have purple hair and a nose ring. Get out of here, you loser. And, hey, if you’re such a bada**, meet me off stage in 13 minutes and 50 seconds,” said Homan. “I guarantee you he sits down to pee. Guaranteed.”

Homan’s speech was also protested outside the event by anti-ICE protesters. The border czar delivered a message for them from the podium, as well, according to the New York Post.
“You want some? Come get some,” Homan said. “I’m tired of it. For the men and women of ICE, I deserve your respect. They’re the finest 1% this country has. And Tom Homan isn’t going anywhere. Tom Homan isn’t shutting up.”
Violence against ICE agents has surged in recent months as immigration enforcement has carried out operations to deport illegal aliens, many of them suspected or convicted of violent crimes and considered to be public safety threats. Last week, Homan said that attacks targeting ICE agents have surged 700% compared to last year.
“The attack on ICE officers … is up nearly 700% now,” Homan said in an interview on Fox News. Homan said that the increase in violence directed at federal immigration enforcement is at least partly due to irresponsible rhetoric from Democrats.
“The rhetoric against the men and women of ICE is skyrocketing, especially by members of Congress. We have senators, we have congresspeople that compare ICE to the Nazis, compare ICE to racists, and it just continues,” said Homan. “The public thinks, well, if a member of Congress can attack ICE, why can’t we?”
Some recent verbal attacks on ICE have included Minnesota Governor Tim Walz calling ICE agents “modern-day Gestapo,” Boston Mayor Michelle Wu comparing ICE to a neo-Nazi group, and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson suggesting ICE agents are “secret police.”
