Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are rumored to be getting ready to sign a massive deal with a French fashion house following the news that Spotify will not renew the Duchess of Susssex’s “Archetypes” podcast for a second season.

The couple is reportedly in talks with Dior for some kind of partnership that the Daily Mail reported would make Markle the “mega-bucks Duchess of Dior” and the face of the company.

However, a spokesperson for the royal couple told the Telegraph that the rumors about a deal aren’t true.

A source with the luxury brand shared similar comments and said that the fashion house is “nonplussed as to how the story came about.”

A Beverly Hills socialite previously told the Daily Mail, “There have been rumors for weeks that [Markle’s] about to sign a deal with Dior, which has put the gossip mill into overdrive.”

“If she pulls that off, then no one will remember that her silly little podcast got canceled after one season,” the person added.

Rumors of the Dior deal surfaced right after Spotify announced the former “Suits” actress and her husband had “mutually agreed to part ways” after the coupled signed an agreement in 2020 for $20 million, Page Six noted.

Markle’s company, Archewell Audio, which she co-founded with Prince Harry, produced 12 episodes of the first season, which aired from August to November 2022.

A description of the show read, “a podcast where we investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back.”

A representative for WME, a talent agency that recently hired Markle, said: “Meghan is continuing to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform.”

Shortly after news surfaced that the podcast deal was canceled, Spotify executive Bill Simmons slammed the Sussexes, labeling them the “f***ing grifters” and said, “That’s the podcast we shoulda launched with them.”

“I gotta get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea,” he added. “It’s one of my best stories.”
