Minnesota law enforcement officials confirmed on Saturday that the suspect involved in the murder and attempted murder of four people, including state lawmakers, had the names of other elected officials and “No Kings” flyers in his vehicle.

“No Kings” is a reference to nationwide left-wing protests taking place on Saturday to object to President Donald Trump.

“When we did a search of the vehicle, there was a manifesto that identified many lawmakers and other officials. We immediately made alerts to the state. We took action on alerting them and providing security where necessary,” said Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley, according to the Associated Press.

State Patrol Col. Christina Bogojevic said during a presser that the suspect had “No Kings” flyers in his car, displaying a photo of the materials (see below).

Organizers of “No Kings” protests in the state of Minnesota have canceled today’s events.

As reported by The Daily Wire on Saturday morning, state Sen. John Hoffman and state Rep. Melissa Hortman and their spouses were shot by a suspect allegedly impersonating a police officer in Champlin and Brooklyn Park.

The pair were attacked in their homes. Rep. Hortman and her spouse were killed in what Gov. Tim Walz said was a “politically motivated assassination.” Hoffman and his wife were both shot numerous time, but are expected to survive.

The suspect has been described as a white male with brown hair, wearing black body armor over a blue shirt and blue pants.
