The Democrats are gearing up for night two of their national convention in Chicago, and after the first night — which they concluded by ousting President Joe Biden from prime time on top of ousting him from the 2024 presidential ticket — it’s anybody’s guess how things are likely to go.

What’s happening?

After the disastrous first night, which culminated in Biden — who has said he’s not his best after 8pm — shouting angrily as he delivered a speech filled with exaggerations and outright lies after not taking the stage until 11:26 p.m., organizers are reportedly pulling out all the stops to make sure that things run more smoothly on Tuesday. Musician James Taylor’s performance was also a casualty of the scheduling mishaps on Monday.

In addition, after keffiyeh-clad anti-Israel protesters broke through one perimeter fence on Monday, another layer of fencing was added to protect convention attendees.

Who’s speaking?

Former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff are headlining the evening, but other speakers are scheduled to include Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-IL), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), and Mesa Mayor John Giles. “The View” host Ana Navarro will emcee the evening.

Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines remarked on the Planned Parenthood mobile “clinic,” where officials claimed 10 abortions took place on night one alone.
