Country star Clay Walker released a statement Tuesday regarding a leaked profanity-laced rant at a bus driver that surfaced on TikTok and said the two have since reconciled over the incident that happened a while ago.
The 53-year-old country singer told Country Now — through his publicist — that the audio clip is from an incident that “happened over a year ago and it came at the end of a long, tough weekend. The bus driver and I reconciled immediately and we are friends and stay in touch.”
In the audio, Walker told the bus driver, “I’m coming over here and I’m going to tell you something. I can whip your a** with one hand tied behind my back. Don’t say a f***ing word.”

“Nope,” the driver replied.
“Tomorrow call your f***ing boss and get me an experienced f***ing driver out here because you are not that,” the singer continued. “And I’ve been trying to raise you up last night and you’re telling me I’m eating into your f***ing drive time motherf***er.”

The “Live Until I Die” hitmaker then appeared to be very upset with the driver for being late and more, Taste of Country reported.
“Motherf***er, told me you’d be here at 10 f***ing PM,” Walker is overheard saying. “You were not here, you lying c***.”
“So when I come out of that bathroom, get your a** ready to drive, and drive me smooth, motherf***er, or you’re gonna regret it.”
After the clip surfaced, social media users called for the singer to explain and apologize.
“[ClayWalker] Please give an explanation of this, what happened before this recording started,” one person wrote.
Another questioned, “What happened here [ClayWalker].”
One person tweeted, “[ClayWalker] say it ain’t so … I never in a million years would’ve thought you’d go so low. Unreal man, another millionaire kicking a working man in the nuts … another reason I hate celebrities.”
