There is a tremendous difference between weaponizing our Justice and Intelligence Departments to damage a political opponent and using credible evidence to bring political operatives to justice. What the Democrats did to Donald Trump during his first term and after he left office in 2021 was Lawfare. The two impeachments of President Trump were done with trumped-up charges, excuse the pun, and the plethora of civil and criminal trials that Trump had to endure, until having most of them thrown out by higher courts was done for one purpose. All of these cases were done to break Trump financially with immense legal fees and exorbitant civil penalties, like $450 million for alleged bank fraud in New York City, and to label him as a felon ineligible to run for public office ever again. Obviously, the fact that the 47th President has beaten down every shot across the courtroom at him suggests that the cases had little in terms of facts and substance, and more in terms of purpose.
The people and charges that are being discussed by the Trump Administration, including every tentacle of the Justice Department, involve plots that have been ongoing since 2015, which was before Trump took office. From illegal wiretaps of the Trump campaign headquarters and staff to the manipulation and fabrication of false narratives, which the Left was able to get the mainstream media to propagate willingly. The allegations involve the efforts by the CIA and FBI to keep Trump from winning the Presidency in 2016 and then totally handcuffing his administration to prevent any chance at reelection. The term “treason” has been used and should not be taken lightly.
Treason is defined as the crime of betraying one’s own country.
This includes acts such as:
- Attempting to overthrow the government or impair the well-being of the state to which one owes allegiance.
- Engaging in acts considered dangerous to national security.
In essence, treason is regarded as one of the most serious offenses against a nation.
The offenses carried out by or at the direction of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, James Comey, Jim Brennan, and John Clapper are nothing short of treason, and it will be a travesty of justice if any one of them is allowed to escape justice without accountability. This conspiracy between the President, Vice President, Director of National Intelligence, the FBI, and the CIA was a definite attempt to overthrow the 45th President of the United States, and it did influence an election for president.
As recently as this week, evidence that had been hidden away in CIA or FBI buildings to prevent disclosure was uncovered thanks to whistleblowers in both agencies and by the dogged determination of Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, and Dan Bongino to unearth the truth. We now need Attorney General Pam Bondi to lodge specific complaints against this treasonous gang and let the investigations and penalties begin. It may be wishful thinking, but I believe the American people are ready to end this cycle of political lawfare and see some real, old-fashioned justice laid down.
