It is not clear why CNN’s Katilan Collins believes it is appropriate for an alleged “journalist” to smear President Trump as a “showman without principles” or to suggest to her beloved Lisa Murkowski that she should leave the Republicans and “caucus with … the Democrats?” Unfortunately, this kind of bias, even interfering in the political process, is standard practice in our corrupt “news” media.
If, however, Collins had wanted to find a politician without principles she might have asked Murkowski about her own alleged principles. She might have asked her why she voted to convict Trump of inciting violence at the Capitol on 1/6/21 on the basis, as liberal GWU law professor Jonathan Turley puts it, of “legally absurd but politically advantageous” claims, i.e., on the basis of a transparently contrived Democrat smear operation.
And somehow Murkowski managed to ignore the fact that Trump had asked in advance for a substantial National Guard presence for Jan. 6 to protect the Capitol but was turned down by Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser. How nice of Murkowski to her Democrat friends not to notice this!
Or, she might have asked Murkowski if she has not managed to fathom that Trump has been the victim of one Democrat-media dirty tricks operation after another since he announced his candidacy for president in 2015. One might begin with the Russian collusion founded on a fake dossier paid for by Democrat Hillary Clinton, followed by a never-ending series of silly Democrat-“news” media hoaxes. A whole new raft of Democrat dirty tricks against Trump and the American people are now coming out. Do Mukowski’s “principles” include apologizing to Trump for her own astonishing gullibleness?
Collins might have asked Murkowski why she initially opposed the brilliant Amy Coney Barret for SCOTUS but voted for the Democrat’s embarrassing DEI candidate Ketanji Jackson Brown, who cannot define what a woman is, who thinks her job as a SCOTUS justice is to express her “feelings” and who needs to have elementary legal points explained to her by another “liberal” SCOTUS justice, Sotomayor? Guess what happens when one picks someone for the skin colour and gender rather than their competence! Thanks Joe!
Collins might have asked Murkowski why, if she has any real principles, she needs massive Democrat votes in a “confusing” new election system, to avoid “losing outright”? Murkowski does know which Party she alleges to be in, which “principles” she accepts, right? Or, perhaps, she just wants to stay on the D.C. gravy train irrespective of these troublesome things called “principles”.
