NextImg:One Detail From Alleged Charlie Kirk Assassin’s Charging Doc Raises Questions About Transgender Lover | CDN

The man charged with killing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk told his transgender lover he had been engraving bullets that authorities later found with left-wing messaging on them, raising questions about possible warning signs for the attack, according to a court document released on Tuesday.

State officials revealed incriminating text messages they allegedly found between 22-year-old Tyler Robinson and his boyfriend, who identifies as a transgender woman, after Kirk was shot dead at a Utah Valley University (UVU) speaking event on Sept. 10 in Orem. Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Gray’s office alleges that Robinson left writings such as “hey fascist! CATCH!” on bullet casings — which Robinson appeared to mention to his romantic partner, according to the alleged text messages. (RELATED: Watch the Daily Caller’s documentary “Groomed”)

“Remember how I was engraving bullets?” Robinson texted the roommate after revealing that he was the shooter police were searching for, according to a charging document.

Authorities have said that engravings on the weaponry, left in a wooded area after the shooting, included internet slang such as “NoTices Bulge OWO What’s This?” in addition to anti-fascist political phrases.

“The fuckin messages are mostly a big meme, if I see ‘notices bulge uwu’ on [Fox News] I might have a stroke,” Robinson told his lover, according to prosecutors.

The alleged conversation was part of a slew of new details the state revealed Tuesday in its case against Robinson, who is charged with murdering Kirk based on the conservative activist’s “political expression.” His other charges are discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, obstruction of justice, witness tampering and committing a violent offense in the presence of children. Robinson, who is being held in jail without bond, faces a possible death sentence if convicted of the murder charge.

Robinson’s trans-identifying boyfriend has cooperated with law enforcement in the case, Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said Sunday. The roommate allegedly showed pure shock over text when Robinson confessed to the killing.

“What?????????????? You’re joking, right????” he texted to Robinson, according to prosecutors.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino previously told Fox News that Robinson gave “multiple warning signs” ahead of the shooting, suggesting that people close to him “knew in advance.” Federal agents are also investigating people who belonged to an online chat room where Robinson allegedly confessed to being the shooter, FBI Director Kash Patel testified to Congress Tuesday.

“To be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age,” Robinson allegedly texted his boyfriend regarding the shooting. “I am sorry to involve you.”

“I had enough of his hatred,” Robinson wrote about Kirk, according to prosecutors. “Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”

Robinson turned himself in to authorities on Thursday evening after a two-day manhunt over Kirk’s murder.

“You are all I worry about love … don’t talk to the media please. don’t take any interviews or make any comments. … if any police ask you questions ask for a lawyer and stay silent,” Robinson allegedly told his roommate.
