Before Pres. Joe Biden delivered his annual address to Congress on Thursday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) posted a video on social media describing “The Real State of the Union.”

“It's a pattern we’re seeing all across the country now: we’re seeing violent crimes committed by illegal aliens that Joe Biden released,” Sen. Cruz says at the beginning of the video.

While Cruz leads off by citing the murder of a 22-year old nursing student in Georgia, Laken Riley, he goes on to list recent murders and rapes of minors in Georgia, Boston, Louisiana and the D.C. metro area.
