

“Nothing says ‘we respect women’ like elbowing them out of their own awards to laud a man who makes a mockery of womanhood,” Elle Purnell, assistant editor for The Federalist, says.
In her article, published Friday, Purnell chronicles the stories of nine biological men who have usurped “Woman of the Year” honors from biological females.
USA Today is the most recent organization to bestow a biological male with an award for women, Purnell notes at the beginning of her piece:
“Earlier this week, the outlet released its list of 2023 honorees, and the name getting the most attention is that of Minnesota state Rep. Leigh Finke, a pink-haired man who dresses like a woman and has been in office for less than 12 weeks.”
The nine biological males depriving women of honors span the gamut, from athletes and actors to activists and a member of the Biden Administration:

Cecilia Chung: Transgender activist, who “pressured San Francisco officials to make their city the first in the country to pay for uninsured residents’ mutilative sex surgeries.” (San Francisco Assemblyman Phil Ting).9.
