“The left’s massive disinformation machine” is working, and here’s how, Fox News Host Dan Bongino explained Saturday in the latest episode of “Unfiltered.”
“The machine’s working. I wish it weren’t but it is,” Bongino said, noting that anyone who dissents from the left’s chosen narrative is accused of spreading disinformation “by the actual machine spreading disinformation itself.”
“But it’s not just exposing the lies of commission they do, but there are also lies of omission,” Bongino noted. “In other words, of what they don’t cover. Joe Biden’s handling of the inflation crisis is a perfect example.”
“The liberal media picks a narrative, which is reinforced by the Democrats and the swamp. And, anyone who calls them out is then accused of spreading disinformation – by the actual machine spreading inflation itself,” Bongino said.
“There are also lies of omission. In other words, of what they don’t cover. Joe Biden’s handling of the inflation crisis is a perfect example,” Bongino added.
“Probably, the best example of the disinfo machine and how they operate is this Hunter Biden laptop story, which is just the gift that just keeps on giving for the Republicans,” Bongino said. Both before and after the 2020 elections, the left zealously pushed the narrative that the infamous laptop did not belong to Hunter Biden, and that those who said it did were guilty of spreading “Russian disinformation” – even though Hunter Biden personally dropped off the laptop at the repair shop and signed for it.
Now, two years later, the liberal media “suddenly are admitting that the laptop is real,” Bongino said. “Weird how this whole thing works, right? Now that there’s no penalty for it”
Bongino then provided a recap of how the left’s disinformation machine works:
“The disinformation machine, led by the lib media, picks a narrative.
“The swamp rats and the media goons all push the narrative – backed up by the fake, phony fact-checkers who censor you.
“Meanwhile, anyone who questions them is accused of spreading disinformation – until the left finally retracts what they said – but, by that time, the damage is already done.”
