Baltimore police are responding to an active shooter situation at Morgan State University with “multiple victims,” the department confirmed to CNN Tuesday night.
Baltimore police earlier asked everyone to shelter in place and avoid the area as they responded to the active shooter situation in the 1700 block of Argonne Drive.
The university said “an active investigation is currently underway related to a report of shots being fired on or near campus” in a notice on its website. “Please stay clear of the area surrounding Thurgood Marshall Hall and the Murphy Fine Arts Center and shelter in place.”
ATF Special Agents are assisting Baltimore police in the ongoing active shooter situation at Morgan State University, ATF Baltimore said on X.
“Please avoid the area. Those nearby should shelter in place,” ATF Baltimore said.
