 <p>A suspect wanted in connection with a Chicago murder is in custody early Wednesday after being accused of shooting an Illinois State Trooper in Springfield.</p><p>The suspect was identified as Cristobal Santana, 37, of Chicago, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.</p><p>About 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Toronto Road, a trooper “interacted” with Santana, believed to be wanted in connection with a recent Chicago homicide, according to the statement. </p><div class="RTEHashTagLabAdModule">
