In Middlesex League action, Stella Criniti dropped 35 points, including her 1,000th of her career, as Lexington edged Belmont 58-55. … Molly Trahan scored 25 points to lead Reading (11-6) past Winchester, 61-33.

In the Catholic Central League, Maddy Steel led all scorers with 19 points and five rebounds while Charlotte Adams-Lopez added 13 points and four assists as Bishop Feehan survived Cathedral 56-53. … Maggie Bedard (20 points), Jess Laflamme (13 points), Alana MacLean (11 points) and Emma Jolley (18 rebounds, three blocks) all played major roles for Fontbonne in a 57-28 win over Ursuline.

Savannah Azoff netted 23 points as Dennis-Yarmouth cruised to a 59-27 win over Nauset in Cape and Islands League action.

In the South Shore League, Tenley Rothera tallied 12 points while Ayla Whitney added another 10 as Sandwich (7-10) topped Rockland, 61-35. … Maddie Oliver notched a double-double with 18 points and 24 boards as Norwell (17-1)  took down Middleboro 59-40. … Thanks to 23 points from Josie Helms, Carver clinched the Tobin Division for the first time in 17 years with a 72-37 victory over Mashpee.

In nonleague play, Jenna Oman netted 18 points as East Bridgewater (14-3) toppled Barnstable 69-24. … Sarah Michel collected 17 points and 12 rebounds while Kathleen Murphy added 10 points and 11 rebounds as Blue Hills defeated Westport 49-35.  … Molly Warner netted 15 points as Malden Catholic (9-6) cruised to a 75-42 victory over Bedford. … Paige Meda poured in 32 points as Bourne took down New Bedford 60-54.

Maeve Powers (12 points, 10 rebounds) nailed the tying 3-pointer with 1.7 seconds left and A’laya Colbert sank the winning free throw as North Quincy edged Duxbury, 43-42, in a Patriot League thriller.

With 20 points apiece, Kirsten McKay (10 rebounds) and Raina Tat overwhelmed Canton for Stoughton in a 54-34 Hockomock League win. … Chloe Fales (15 points), Lauryn DiGiorgio (13 points) and Mallory Santos (10 points) shared the scoring load for Franklin in a 59-29 rout of Milford.

A double-double for Lizzie Bettencourt (10 points, 11 rebounds) anchored Peabody in a much-needed, 46-37 Northeastern Conference win over Saugus.

Christina Lopas scored 14 points and Kira Henderson added 11 points, boosting Natick (14-5) in a 59-29 win over Wellesley to secure the program’s fourth Bay State Conference Carey title.

Julianna Rivera (15 points) and Emilia Maria Babcock (13 points) reached double digits in a team win for Everett, topping Greater Boston League foe Revere, 48-42.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Teagan Swint netted 31 points, including the 1,000th of his career as Newton North defeated Weymouth 70-43 in Bay State Conference play.

In a Cape Ann League game, Caden Shrock recorded 29 points as Hamilton-Wenham defeated Amesbury, 58-55.

In a Patriot League matchup, Jah Estrela (19 points), Dylan Perrault (13 points), Jason Paretchan (12 points) and Love Bertrand (6 points) led the way as Whitman-Hanson (16-2) defeated Pembroke, 62-47. … Freshman Oliver Curley scored 23 points as Silver Lake took down Scituate 61-56. … Freshman Aidan McGrath (20 points) and senior captain Kobe Nguyen (18 points) dominated as North Quincy (17-2) dropped Duxbury 69-46. … Zade Garron Ciberay’s 17 points led Plymouth South in scoring as part of a 69-30 win over Plymouth North.

Mike Dankert collected 24 points, 13 boards and eight assists as Bourne won 69-48 over South Coast Conference opponent Wareham.

In the Tri-Valley League, Peter Kumar had 16 points as Medfield (11-6) rolled over Bellingham 69-39.

James Dingman poured in 29 points as Arlington (14-4) won 62-43 over Middlesex League opponent Woburn. … Krish Soni’s 11 second-half points fueled Burlington in a 62-53 comeback win over Wilmington.

Jake Olmstead dropped 31 points and Caden Sullivan finished with 28 points as Franklin won 82-67 over Milford in Hockomock League action. …  Justin Grimaldi (31 points) and Cole Craffey (24 points) led the way as Oliver Ames took down North Attleboro 82-63. … Travis Johnson’s game-winning bucket capped off a 16-point performance from Amari Cambell to power Taunton over King Philip, 52-51. Johnson tallied eight points with 11 rebounds in the win, while Dray Thielker and Seun Olaniyan each added 11 points. … Hayden Crowley sounded off for 21 points, LaDainian Rodrigues added 20 points with nine rebounds, and Attleboro cruised to 16-3 on the year with a 77-52 win over Stoughton.

In the Northeastern Conference, Connor Chiarello led the way with 23 points, including his 1,000th career point, as Swampscott secured a 68-55 victory over Danvers. … Jimmy Farrell erupted for 24 points and six assists to help Masconomet topple Salem, 65-46. … Jariel Tolentino’s 25 points combined with Thad Broughton’s 17 points to lift Peabody (9-10) over Saugus, 60-42.

Matt Gaffney (22 points) and Colin Mannke (18 points) anchored Malden Catholic in an 82-52 nonleague rout of Worcester South.  … Dalton Kinnon poured in 35 points to lead Mystic Valley (15-2) to a 70-35 win over Boston Collegiate. … Cason Faulk beat the buzzer for Bridgewater-Raynham to seal a 60-58 win over Catholic Memorial.

Behind 18 points from Matt Breen, Shawsheen (16-2) toppled Whittier 78-37 to clinch a share of the Commonwealth Athletic Conference Large title.

BOYS HOCKEY

Seniors James McFarland and Connor Jamieson each tallied goals, backing 20 saves from Drew Karlovits to power BC High (9-5-3) in a 2-1 win over Belmont in a nonleague nail-biter. Jamieson’s came with 25 seconds left in regulation.

BOYS NORDIC SKIING

Fritz Sanders of Wahconah captured the MIAA State Nordic Skiing championship, navigating the course at Prospect Mountain in a time of 20:23.0. Patrick Holland of Mt. Greylock finished second (21:08.0), followed by Mori Finlayson-Johnecheck of Arlington (21:10.0), Simon Shin of Mt. Greylock (21:34.0) and the Newton South duo of Dashiel Martin (21:34.0) and Levin Brenner (21:50.0).

Mt. Greylock won the team title with 34 points, followed by Wahconah (55), Concord-Carlisle (68) and Newton South (90).

GIRLS NORDIC SKIING

Brookline’s Hannah Petersen won the MIAA State Nordic Skiing Championship at Prospect Mountain, coasting to victory in a time of 24:50.0. Vienna Mahar of Wahconah finished second (25:17.0), followed by Petersen’s teammate Rachael Strock (26:26.0), Polina Kontorovich of Newton South (26:36.0), Lauren Miller of Mt. Greylock (26:43.0) and Lucy Reiner of Lincoln-Sudbury (27:09.0).

Mt. Greylock took home the team title with 61 points, followed by Amherst (72), Acton-Nashoba (77), Newton South (85) and Lenox (89).
