NextImg:Tom Brady praises exes Gisele Bündchen, Bridget Moynahan in Mother’s Day Instagram post

Tom Brady included exes Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan in an Instagram post celebrating Mother’s Day.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion, 45, gave a shoutout to “all these amazing women who have given our family so much throughout their lives.”

“Thank you all for your love, compassion and kindness, and for setting such an amazing example for all of our little ones,” Brady wrote. “We are all so grateful for your support and helping us all achieve our dreams. I wish all the mothers in the world a special day with the people that love them the most.”

The post included a slideshow of photos that featured his own mom, Galynn, along with Moynahan and Bündchen in a series of Brady family photos.

Moynahan and Brady dated from 2004 to 2006, and Moynahan is the mother of Brady’s oldest child, 15-year-old Jack.

Bündchen and Brady were married for 13 years and share two children, Ben and Vivian. Their highly publicized divorce was finalized in October 2022, and Sunday marked their first Mother’s Day since the separation.

Brady also posted on Instagram in February to mark their first Valentine’s Day apart, sharing a quote from yogi and Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru: “Love is not a transaction; it is a certain exuberance and sweetness of your emotion.”

While Brady hasn’t publicly discussed the divorce, Bündchen spoke with Vanity Fair in March about their split. She said it wasn’t all about Brady wanting to continue his football career.

“Wow, people really made it about that. What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle,” she told the magazine. “It’s not so black and white.”
