Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are officially split.
The Buccaneers quarterback and supermodel took to social media to announce the divorce while asking for privacy.
Brady went first Friday morning, following yet another loss Thursday night, writing: “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.
“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way,” he added. “We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

Then Gisele followed quickly saying, in part, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we spent together and only wish the best for Tom always.”

The Bucs lost to the Baltimore Ravens 27-22 Thursday night and now stand at a meek 3-5. But as the announcers repeated often, never count Brady out.
Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles was asked how much of a toll Brady’s life away from the field has taken on the quarterback, according to ESPN, and he said it was hard to say.
“I can’t say for sure. Tom’s a very private person. He does his job when he’s out here. And he smiles a lot,” Bowles told ESPN. “That’s really all you can go by. I think everybody — no matter what profession — you go through some things. It’s how you handle it and come out of it. I’m sure he has something weighing on him when he leaves work and everything. I don’t know how much. I guess that’s a question for him.”
Brady sat in front of his locker in full uniform for several minutes, his head buried at times in his hands, after the loss.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost five of six games following a 2-0 start, their 45-year-old quarterback has lost three straight starts for the first time in two decades, and no one professes to have a quick or easy fix.
“I don’t think anyone feels good. … But we haven’t earned it,” Brady said from a podium later Thursday night, reflecting on the loss to the Baltimore Ravens. “We’ve got to go earn it. … You’ve got to fight hard and figure out how to win games.”
Now Brady will go it alone.
He jetted in (solo) from Florida for Bob Kraft’s wedding earlier this month where he mixed with old buddies from Drew Bledsoe to Vince Wilfork and Richard Seymour.
Kraft married Dr. Dana Blumberg in a surprise wedding in New York City where Elton John serenaded the newlyweds along with Ed Sheeran. Along with singing a duet with Elton John on “Candle in the Wind” Sheeran sang an acoustic version of his 2017 hit “Perfect” for the couple’s first dance.
But coach Bowles seemed to grasp the moment Friday: “We’re still in a dark place right now.”
