BASEBALL
In Middlesex League action, Ryan Heldenbergh smacked a double to drive in the go-ahead RBI and boost Burlington to a 5-3 win over Wilmington.
Nate Levesque pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts and Caiden Cyr drove in five runs on three hits as Apponequet (8-9) outpaced Old Rochester 12-2 in South Coast Conference action.
BOYS LACROSSE
In the Patriot League, Sam Wein scored as time expired as Duxbury edged Silver Laker 13-12. … Thomas Cronan and Ben Hickey each tallied five goals as Hanover doubled up Quincy/North Quincy 18-9.
In a Northeast Conference contest, Colby Dunham and Brady Tersolo finished with four goals apiece as Danvers blanked Salem, 18-0.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Cece Levrault had five goals and Emilia Keane added three more as Apponequet took down Bourne 15-4 in South Coast Conference action.
In the Middlesex League, Charlize Collins and Ilex Fowler each netted four tallies as Burlington blanked Wilmington 15-0.
Cameron Flaherty finished with seven points to lead Weymouth to a 13-9 win over Natick, in Bay State League action.
Caitlin Walsh had three goals and Jill Martin added a pair, including the game-winner in overtime, as Chelmsford clinched a share of the Merrimack Valley Conference title with an 8-7 win over North Andover. … Sara MacLeod had five goals an assist as Billerica defeated Andover, 11-8.
SOFTBALL
In Hockomock League action, sophomore Devon Morris was 3-for-5 at the plate with three RBI, two runs and a pair of stolen bases to lead Oliver Ames past Sharon, 10-3.
In a South Coast Conference contest, Lauren Bernaiche tossed a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts to lift Apponequet to a 16-1 win over Old Rochester.
In a nonleague game, Hannah Garcia collected five hits to power Dartmouth a 18-6 win over Durfee. … Amanda Grace was 5-for-5 at the plate with 8 RBI to lead Lowell Catholic past Northeast, 18-3. … Alexandra Welch smashed two home runs and finished with four hits as Middleboro downed Norwell, 13-3. … Sharlotte Stazinski struck out 10 while Arianna Kreuzer finished with a single, double and triple as Walpole blanked Abington, 3-0.
In a Boston City League showdown, Ellie Etemad-Gilbertson recorded five hits, including a pair of home runs, as Latin Academy defeated Boston English, 13-1.
In Patriot League action, Kaelyn Chase finished 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI and two runs scored as Hanover defeated North Quincy, 8-5.
