In the Merrimack Valley Conference, Lucy Irwin had a hat trick as Central Catholic blanked North Andover 6-0.

Carlos Rodrigues threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Armani Negron with eight minutes left as Everett (1-1) scored the final 20 points to defeat Medford 34-14 in the Greater Boston League. The win was the 32nd in a row for the Crimson Tide over the Mustangs dating back to 1991.

Noah Allen ran for 195 yards and three touchdowns as Whittier (2-0) rolled to a 40-7 nonleague win over Ipswich. … Dane Deveaux threw for two scores and rushed for another as Waltham blanked Newton North 33-0.
