Red Sox Nation paid its respects this week to pitching legend Luis Tiant, who died Tuesday at 83. When this Oct. 8, 1975 photo was taken, Tiant and his wife Maria were walking through Logan International Airport in Boston after returning from Oakland, CA, where the Sox beat the Oakland Athletics for the American League title. Between Tiant and his wife is his father, Luis Tiant Sr., who was visiting Boston from Cuba to see his son pitch. (AP Photo)
