Way before he was a Hollywood star, Cambridge’s own Ben Affleck worked as a dishwasher – so he knows a thing or two about earning minimum wage. In 2004, Affleck did the rounds of D.C. in support of an increase in the federal hourly minimum from $5 to $7, proposed by Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy. “Perhaps the senator saw my movie ’Gigli’ last fall and figured I’d be working for minimum wage myself,” Affleck quipped, according to “Today.” When this April 29, 2004 photo was taken, Affleck stood with Rep.
