The Boston Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying yet another Tesla vandal, a woman seen throwing a large rock onto the roof of an electric vehicle in Southie.

Authorities released photos of the woman at the scene of the incident over the weekend on Tuesday, days after they sought public assistance in identifying and tracking down a suspect accused of vandalizing Tesla vehicles in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood.

“The Boston Police Department is actively investigating this incident,” authorities stated in a community alert on the South Boston incident that happened in the area of 10 O Street early Sunday morning. “Anyone with information is urged to contact District C-6 Detectives at (617) 343-4742.”

“Community members wishing to provide information anonymously may do so through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line,” the community alert adds.

On Saturday, the BPD issued a community alert “seeking the public’s assistance” in identifying an individual “who is believed to be connected to multiple incidents of vandalism and harassment” targeting Tesla vehicles in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood.

Authorities did not disclose the number of incidents or their nature that primarily occurred between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. during the week of March 11. They added that they reportedly unfolded “in the area of Hemenway Street and Gainsborough Street.”

Also Saturday, a truck driver struck and injured two individuals protesting Tesla and Musk at a Tesla Service Center in Watertown.

The increased vandalism and violence targeting Tesla follow President Trump’s inauguration and the elevation of Tesla CEO Elon Musk to oversee the Department of Government Efficiency, which has announced a series of cuts across the federal government.
