Stoughton woman missing for a week has been found alive, she was ‘stuck in the mud for several days’

The 31-year-old Stoughton woman who had been missing for a week has been found alive after she was “stuck in the mud for several days,” according to police.
Emma Tetewsky was located alive in Borderland State Park by Easton police officers on Monday evening, Stoughton Police has reported.
She had been found by hikers passing by, but the hikers couldn’t get to her on foot, police said. They notified Easton Police and directed the officers to her location in the woods.
“Utilizing ATV’s, Easton PD undertook rescue efforts to reach Emma and free her as she was stuck in the mud for several days,” Stoughton Police wrote.
“Emma was conscious and alert and she was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for observation,” police added.
Tetewsky was reported missing by her family last Monday, June 26.
The Stoughton Police Department in the search for her was assisted by several public safety assets, including drones and boats, from the State Police Air Wing, Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Department, the Stoughton Fire Department and the Quincy Police Department.
“There were so many agencies involved in the search for Emma over the last week,” Stoughton Police wrote. “We thank everyone involved. The public never gave up hope that she would be located safely. She could not have been located without the public’s help.”
