AUTUMN ALLEN
WHEELER
This athlete made a huge impact in the EIL track and field this spring while only a freshman. She was the EIL champion in the long jump, 100 meters, and 200 meters. She was the NEPSTA D3 champ in the long jump with a meet-record distance of 17-feet, 8.75-inches.
MAX BECKER
PINGREE
A standout lacrosse talent, this junior goalie was a team MVP, EIL Player of the Year, All-NEPSAC, USA All-American, and a NE-1 All-Tournament team member. He made 202 saves, with a 71-percent save percentage and maintained a 6.05 goals-against average.
SARAH BRODY
NEWTON COUNTRY DAY
This junior softball player was excellent whether that meant as a pitcher or a hitter. She posted an 8-2 record this season, with 144 strikeouts, a 1.38 ERA, and a 0.87 WHIP. At the plate, she batted .688, with 14 runs, seven walks, five doubles, a triple, 12 RBI, and seven stolen bases.
MATT CONTE
DEXTER SOUTHFIELD
A Wake Forest commit for baseball, this senior had a great season for this Brookline school. A catcher, Conte batted .459 with four home runs, 15 RBI, an OPS of 1.375, and on-base percentage of .588. The Gatorade Player of the Year, he was the school’s male athlete of the year, team MVP, and All-NEPSAC performer.

PORTSMOUTH ABBEY
The junior ran the 300-meter hurdles in 39.80 seconds, the 110 hurdles in 16.09, and 400 in 50.97. She won both hurdle events at both the EIL and New England Championships. She already owns the school record in the 300 hurdles.

BELMONT HILL
One of the top-rated defenders in the country, the 6-foot senior earned ISL MVP honors after leading Belmont Hill to a 17-1 season. Heavily recruited by many of the top college lacrosse programs in the country, Fox committed to Princeton.

BELMONT HILL
A two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic and track and field MVP of the ISL, the junior captain led the team to a 15-2 record and was the league champion in both the shot put and discus. Gomes broke a nine-year-old school record in the shot put with a throw of 57-6.
SOPHIA HAHN
NOBLE AND GREENOUGH
This junior softball pitcher posted a 0.62 ERA in the ISL, and 0.96 overall, with a 0.67 WHIP, and 107 strikeouts, and 21 walks. She also batted .357 with two home runs on an undefeated ISL mark. She was a Big East Invitational All-Tournament team member, First Team ISL performer, the co-ISL MVP, and a First Team NEPSAC player.
AVERY HART
BB&N
This junior track and field performer made her mark in the high jump, long jump, triple jump, and 100 meter hurdles. The ISL field event MVP had an undefeated season. She owns the school and ISL record in the long jump (18-6), the school record in the high jump with a top-ranking in Massachusetts (5-6), and was the ISL and NEPSAC triple-jump champion (37-5).

MILTON ACADEMY
This junior golfer had a great spring for this ISL program. He has a 12-2-1 match play record, was the ISL Kingman Cup individual stroke play champion, and was the ISL Golf MVP. A three-time All-ISL golf performer, he also competes in basketball and soccer.
JAYLIN JOHNSON
CHAPEL HILL CHAUNCY HALL
A three-time MBIL Most Valuable Player, Johnson tallied 39 goals and 21 assists for 60 points. He also tallied 74 ground balls from his attack position as the Chargers led the MBIL in scoring.

MILTON ACADEMY
This junior track sprinter was All-NEPSAC, all-ISL, and the ISL MVP. He won the league in the 100, 200, and was a member of the league champion 4×100 champion. He is the school record holder in each event. He also plays football.
ERIN KAMPERSAL
MONTROSE
A junior, this softball shortstop hit five home runs and made just one fielding error for the EIL champions. She was named the IGC MVP. A five-year varsity player and junior captain, she is an All-IGC team member for the past four consecutive seasons.

PINGREE
This freshman tennis player took the EIL by storm this season. The singles player was EIL Player of the Year, and also won the team MVP award. He also plays basketball and soccer.
YLAN LIU
BOSTON UNIVERSITY ACADEMY
A junior, this volleyball standout led the team in kills with a powerful hitting ability. She is also the team’s best passer on the back row.
MADDIE MACDONALD
NOBLE AND GREENOUGH
One of the most productive girls lacrosse players in the state, the MVP of the ISL tallied 68 goals, 12 assists and 66 draw control. For her career, MacDonald finished with 159 goals, 39 assists and 168 draw controls. An honors student who graduated with academic distinction, MacDonald will continue her athletic career at Duke University.
SHANNON MAHONEY
MONTROSE
This senior had a tremendous career along the midfield. This season, she posted 35 goals and two assists for the IGC champs. She was All-NEPSAC, the team MVP, and IGC MVP. She had 125 career goals and a two-time league MVP.
SADIE MARTIESIAN
WHEELER
This senior attack scored 114 goals, was the EIL Player of the Year, and an All-American. For her career, she had 364 goals, and was Rhode Island’s all-time leader in goals scored. She was named Wheeler Scholar-Athlete for 2024.
MAKAYLA MORIARTY
GOVERNOR’S ACADEMY
This senior sprinter at the Byfield school won the ISL and NEPSAC in both the 400 and 4×100. She was second in the league in the 200, and third in the NEPSAC. She will continue her career at Tufts.
GABRIELLA NUGENT
TABOR
This junior was a strength both as a pitcher, and at the plate. The ISL co-MVP and NEPSAC Honorable Mention, she had a .444 average with nine home runs and 20 RBI. In the circle, she pitched 106 innings and struck out 180 players. She has struck out 270 batters in her career.

ROXBURY LATIN
This junior tennis player excelled at both singles and doubles. This season, he went 15-0 in ISL play, with a 19-1 NEPSAC mark. An All-ISL performer, he was the ISL MVP and NEPSAC co-MVP. A repeat Boston Herald All-Scholastic, he has a 55-4 career record.
COLE PERKIN
PINGREE
This 6-5 senior hurler helped his team to a 16-4 record. In 33.2 innings pitched, he posted an ERA of 0.62 with six runs, three earned, 10.8 strikeouts per seven innings, a 4.73 strikeout-to-walk ratio, and a 0.16 opponents batting average. An All-NEPSAC performer, he had a 1.74 career ERA.

WINSOR
This senior was the No. 1 singles player for her team. The EIL MVP and an all-league player, she was a NEPSAC Class A all-league player. She was 19-0 for both regular and postseason, and led her team to a third straight EIL title. A two-time captain, she never lost a singles match in her scholastic career.

NEWMAN
This senior tennis star was undefeated, the league champion, and league MVP. This was the second consecutive year where she accomplished all three, and hopes to play tennis in college, as well.

The senior javelin and shot put thrower was the EIL champion in both events, and the NEPSTA Div. 3 javelin with a meet record throw of 179-2. A two-time All-NEPSAC selection, he also plays soccer.
JOSHUA SMITH
BOSTON TRINITY ACADEMY
This senior pitcher and catcher had an excellent season. A team captain, team MVP, and MBIL MVP, he had a .287 batting average. On the mound, he had 30 strikeouts in 19.2 innings, with a 0.71 ERA. A three-time all-league player, he was the MBIL co-MVP as a junior.
GAVIN WAINWRIGHT
ST. SEBASTIAN’S
Only a freshman, this pitcher and shortstop was ISL MVP and batted .359 with a .490 OBP, 513 slugging, and 1.003 OPS.with 12 runs scored and 52 RBI. On the mound, he went 5-0 with 35 strikeouts, 10 walks, a .172 ERA, and .136 BAA.

BELMONT HILL
The senior had a strong season for Belmont Hill. A 6-foot-1, 176-pound player, he went out on top on the links. He graduated cum laude and will continue his career at Georgetown.

The league MVP, this senior was a two-year captain and starting outside hitter. He excelled at passing on free balls, serve receive, and hard-driven balls. He was also a leader on the front row, a smart player, and a reliable hitter. He helped the team to its first league championship.
