The Patriots are re-signing wide receiver Jalen Reagor on a 1-year deal, a source told the Herald.
Reagor caught seven passes for 138 yards and no touchdowns last year in 11 games. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the Pats’ regular-season road finale at Buffalo. The former first-round pick projects as a training camp body next season, in what could be his first full year in New England.
Reagor signed to the Patriots’ practice squad at the end of August after getting released in Minnesota. He was later promoted to the team’s active roster in late October. Teammates praised Reagor for his work on scout team, saying he effectively simulated All-Pro receivers like Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill in practice.
The Eagles selected Reagor in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of TCU. He lasted just two years with the Eagles, before getting traded to Minnesota, where he spent one season.
Bleacher Report first reported Reagor’s return.
