


A man was left with life-threatening injuries after an early morning shooting in Dorchester Saturday, according to the Boston Police Department.
Police responded to Geneva Avenue and Dakota Street just after 2 a.m. for a report of a person shot, according to the department. Officers found a man with life-threatening injuries, who was transported to a local hospital.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and no arrests have been made, according to the department.
Heavily armed Boston police were also spotted near 65 Bowdoin St.
A spokesperson for the department said officers were searching for a suspect potentially involved in a shooting but it was unknown if the person was connected to the incident Saturday morning.
