Rudolph wasn’t the only one making a run for it on Christmas.

Two sheep escaped from a Southie church service on Christmas Eve before Boston police officers helped corral the fleeing duo.

At around 4 p.m., police officers responded to Boston Street in Andrew Square near Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish. The officers were responding to a report of two sheep on the lam.

“A white sheep and a black sheep had escaped from a Christmas service,” a Boston Police spokesperson said on Monday. “They were captured and returned to the church.”

Video of the Christmas Eve sheep incident made the rounds on social media.

Boston Police also responded on the holiday to multiple stabbings.

At around 2:07 a.m., police responded to 17 Court St., for a reported stabbing downtown. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Then at 2:13 a.m., police received a report of a stabbing at 275 Tremont St., in the Theater District. Two males were injured, including one who was stabbed multiple times. The other male victim sustained a facial injury. They were both non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests had been made for the stabbings as of Monday afternoon.
