First responders have rushed to Castle Island to help search for a missing child, state police report tonight.

A dive team has also been called along with Boston police and fire, the State Police Air Wing and Boston EMS.

The missing child is said to be 4 years old, but that is unofficial at this point.

Castle Island is a peninsula in South Boston that’s right on the Harbor. The popular park has been the scene of countless celebrations and picnics.
