By Jami Ganz | New York Daily News

Rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a possible federal indictment as investigators alert his accusers that they might soon testify before a federal grand jury in New York City.

One source told CNN that federal authorities have alerted potential witnesses to such a development in the federal sex trafficking probe against the Harlem-born artist, 54.

A Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) spokesperson would not comment to CNN on whether a grand jury has convened but confirmed that a probe into Combs is ongoing.

In March, his Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided as part of the federal sex trafficking investigation.

A source also told the outlet that HSI wants a “bulletproof” case against the Bad Boy Records founder, who has been the subject of several disturbing lawsuits since late last year.

The reported new development comes shortly after CNN published a video earlier this month showing Combs brutally beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a 2016 incident. Combs subsequently apologized for the altercation, noting he was “disgusted” with himself at the time and today.

Ventura, 37, filed a blockbuster lawsuit against Combs in November, alleging rape, sex trafficking and physical abuse. One of the incidents detailed in the suit closely resembled the events of the 2016 footage.

Though Ventura and Combs settled within a day several other accusers filed their own lawsuits in coming weeks and months, accusing Combs of sexual harassment, sexual assault and drugging.
