BASEBALL
TJ Walsh struck out 6 as Lynn Classical shut out Everett, 10-0, in a six inning Greater Boston League game.
In nonleague play, Jordan Bailey had two RBI in the game, including an important safety squeeze bunt in the sixth to give Southeastern (6-3) the 4-3 victory over Greater New Bedford Voke.
KJ Beckett went 3-for-4 with a double, homer and six runs driven in as Milton (13-1) outslugged Newton North 12-4 in Bay State Conference action.
Drew Anderson and Mike Cobb combined on a two-hitter as Waltham edged Newton South 2-1 in the Dual County League.
BOYS LACROSSE
Johnny Gianibas finished with five goals and two assists, including the game-winner with27 seconds left as Hull outlasted Quincy/North Quincy 11-10 in a nonleague tilt. … Matt Morrow’s third goal of the game in overtime gave St. John’s Prep a 12-11 win over Staples (Conn.). … Jack Jaynes scored 10 goals, while Cullen Granara added four goals and five assists as Reading defeated Scituate, 19-8. … Freshman Cam Desy scores the winning goal with 2:53 left as Arlington Catholic (10-2) edges Cambridge 8-7.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Caroline Uniacke finished with five goals and four assists and Eden Scipione added five goals and two assists as Ursuline edged nonleague opponent Framingham 15-14.
SOFTBALL
In Middlesex League action, Morgan Barmash struck out eleven and recorded a pair of hits as Woburn (10-2) defeated Reading, 7-1.
In a Catholic Central League game, Shelby Parr fanned eleven and smacked a pair of hits to lead Archbishop Williams to a 5-2 victory over Bishop Fenwick.
