State and Boston police responding to a shooting have shut down parts of Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester as they search for a suspect.

The shooting occurred at the intersection of Gallivan and Dorchester Avenue, according to Massachusetts state police.

“Gallivan Blvd. is shut down at multiple locations, including intersections with Dorchester Ave. and Washington Street,,” said state police in a tweet.
