


Boston police confiscated six loaded handguns Friday night when they responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Mascot Street in Dorchester.
Officers got the call for a report of shots fired just after 9 p.m. and on arrival found no victims or suspects in the area.
However, upon further investigation, officers uncovered a cache of weapons.
Among the guns recovered, police found a Sig Sauer P320, 9mm, with one round in the chamber and fourteen rounds in the magazine; a Glock 17, 9mm, with fourteen rounds in the magazine; a Polymer80, Glock 17, with one round in the chamber and sixteen rounds in the magazine; a Ruger P89 9mm, with one round in the chamber and ten rounds in the magazine; a Polymer 80, Glock 19 9mm, with one round in the chamber and four rounds in the magazine; and a Glock 19 9mm, with thirty rounds in the magazine.
The weapons-find remains under investigation.
