A person who was reportedly in a “mental health crisis” jumped from the Boston University Bridge onto Storrow Drive Thursday morning, according to State Police.
Mass State Police troopers responded to the scene at around 9 a.m.
The individual was conscious and alert as they were transported to the hospital, police said.
No information was immediately available about the person’s identity or their injuries.
Traffic was snarled on Storrow amid the police activity by the BU Bridge.
